Believe it or not, the Bible focuses more on home security than you might imagine. Most people already know that your home should be a place of peace and security, but did you know that the Bible states this specifically?
Here is the verse in question, along with a few others that make it clear that your home’s safety is key.
Jeremiah 33:6
Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them and reveal to them abundance of prosperity and security.
Psalm 122:7
Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!
Job 11:18
And you will feel secure, because there is hope; you will look around and take your rest in security.
Isaiah 39:8
Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, “The word of the Lord that you have spoken is good.” For he thought, “There will be peace and security in my days.”
Isaiah 32:17-18
And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever. My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.
